Project Life: December 2014

I'm up on the One Little Bird blog today sharing a Project Life spread from early December.  Since I complete a December Daily® album every year, I usually just add in a sprinkle of photos from our month.  I actually love putting these spreads together because they can be so photo heavy (without me feeling any guilt about not journaling)!!  :)

Here's a little peek at my spread!  I used another one of the October Afternoon page protectors with the 3x3 pockets.  This style is my new favorite!  I love uniform and cohesive everything looks (I'll blame that on Instagram)!

Peppermint's December and holiday journaling cards are outstanding.  I just love her clean, minimalistic style!!  I also include a few digital overlays/brushes before I printed my photos!  I love the effect they add!!

Project Life: One Little Bird Birthday Spread

My sweet boy turns four in just a few short days, so I figured what better way to document his birthday than to compose a spread just for him!  

You can read more about how this spread came together over on the One Little Bird blog today!!  I used the awesome Fete journaling cards to include a bunch of thoughts/facts/info on my son at the age of 4.  And as you can see, I went big and bold with my photo!  I just love large photos in my album!

One Little Bird: More Mini Album Madness

Can't stop.  Won't stop making minis.  I'm a little obsessed right now, I think.  These little books have sparked something in me creatively and I am enjoying the process of making so much.  Some times you feel it and some times you don't.  I try to run with it when the momentum is there. 

This little mini is up on the One Little Bird blog today and it showcases the beautiful Gramercy Road collection.  Since I had created several layouts with the collection previously, I decided to switch things up and create a mini.  You can see the full album on the OLB blog, but here are a few of my favorite pages!

Are you a One Little Bird fan??  I sure am!  Peppermint Granberg is the bees-knees to me.  I love every.single.thing she creates.  I swear she must have magic in her brain!  The best part about her products is that they make creating effortless.....especially for Project Life.  It's a slide & go kind of process and I love it!  Below are a few sneaks of a new spread I put together using a few of her collections from The Lilypad!  Hop on over to see the whole project, as well as some tips on keeping Project Life fun!!
