My California Travel Journal Kit

I couldn't resist putting together a little travel journal kit before I left for San Diego.  I'll have a little free time in the afternoons while my husband is at work and in-between reading my book and lounging by the pool, I plan on sneaking some photos and words into my journal.

The travel journal is the one I pre-made using the Open Road goodies from Crate Paper.  You can see my full tutorial on the Crate blog.  It's has plenty of room for photos and memorabilia and I'm super excited to start filling it up!  I also packed my cute little Instax camera and have been taking pretty beach photos with it, so I can start adding those in while I'm here in California.

I threw a few little extras in my kit, as well.  Some journaling labels, wood veneer, chipboard frames, flair and a date stamp....really all you would need to put together a little travel journal!  It all fits right into the muslin bag and doesn't take up too much room in my suitcase.

I'll be sure to post pictures of my finished journal once it's all done!
